Il progetto 7th Floor nasce in costiera amalfitana nel gennaio del 2005.
Dopo soli tre mesi di lavoro la band realizza subito (Aprile 2005) il primo demo intitolato "Welcome To My Endless Land".
Nel marzo del 2006 i 7th Floor entrano nuovamente in sala di registrazione presso gli Zork Studios di Salerno e registrano il loro primo album (completamente autoprodotto) dal titolo "Slaves of the System".
L'album è l'espressione della continua ricerca di un sound nuovo e accattivante ottenuto miscelando influenze blues e hard-rock-metal con linee melodiche ricercate.
I brani, inoltre, rispecchiano pienamente la filosofia del gruppo mostrandosi come un grido di pace e di uguaglianza, una condanna al terrorismo e a chi non accetta le differenze etniche e religiose.
"Slaves of the System" riscuote immediatamente numerosi consensi tant'è che i brani in esso contenuti vengono pubblicati in numerose compilation (Virus Alternativi, Emergenti Italiani Primavera, Let Me Free Sound, Tirreno Festival 2007 etc.).
Il 22 giugno 2007 in occasione della Festa Europea della Musica (www.festaeuropeadellamusica.com) i 7th Floor, dimostrando la loro particolare attenzione verso i new media, si sono esibiti sul palco del famoso "mondo virtuale" di SECOND LIFE, allestito per l'occasione dall'Istituto Italiano di Cultura, con i brani "Heaven's Falling Down To Earth" e "Slaves Of The System".
Il 29 luglio 2007 la band ha ottenuto un nuovo riconoscimento vincendo, con il pezzo "The Darkest Place In My Mind", il premio "MIGLIOR MUSICA" al Tirreno Festival 2007.
Attualmente i 7th Floor sono impegnati alla lavorazione del prossimo full-lenght album.

7th FLOOR was formed on the Amalfi Coast, Italy in January, 2005.
After three short months of playing together, in April 2005, the Band released its first demo entitled "Welcome To My Endless Land".
After a year of playing local clubs and various other musical events in the Salerno/ Naples area, in March 2006, 7th FLOOR return to Zork Studios in Salerno to record their 1st LP entitled "Slaves of The System".
The album's intent was to blend all four members' musical influences together into one, singular, new, hard sound that few, if any, had ever heard.
"Slaves Of The System" became an immediate success for the group with all seven of its tracks becoming part of larger CD compilations distributed and sold throughout Italy and the European continent.
On June, 22 2007, 7th FLOOR also had the opportunity of playing live in front of millions of fans and music lovers from all over the world on the virtual community known as "Second Life" in their annual European Music Festival held ever year.
7th FLOOR was also most-recently awarded with the title of "Best Music" for their ballad "The Darkest Place In My Mind" which appears on their LP "Slaves of The System".
In the coming months the Group will be working on their 2nd LP to be released worldwide in December, 2007 and playing as many shows as possible in the meantime....."
